Tunnel of love

Uncle Richard came by today to visit and play with the kids. I tell ya, these kids love them some Uncle Richard! The kids have been crawling nonstop through their tunnel, so when Uncle Rich decided to get in, the kids wanted to be right there with him!

Ohhh Two-dooles!!!

It was a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse....Ohhh Two-Dooles event! Sophia turned 2 years old on August 2nd! Since her big-love right now is Mickey Mouse and friends, we just knew that would be the theme!! We celebrated at Momma and Daddy's house with our family and a few friends, and had such a fun time! I am telling yal, the heat was something awful! It was about 100 but felt so much hotter and there was no breeze (unless you count the 7 or so oscillating fans that were scattered around the back porch)!! We had some kiddy pools set up and a slip n slide. We feasted on what else, but HOT DOGS!!

Sophia and her Minnie (or as she says...Meanie!!)

Here we are... Mickey's Clubhouse!!

I had set the table up like Minnies Sweet Shop...cookies, cake, cupcakes, candy galore!! I also made up some Styrofoam Minnie mouse heads. The party decor was mucho funno!!

The back yard set up. Thank you to Granddaddy, Honey, Uncle Jason, and Kitty

The Minnie Birthday Cake!!

Happy Birthday Sophia!

The cousins and Aunt Kitty

Aron and our nephew Abram. He will probably not love the pic since he is a 13 yr old boy in Mickey ears.... the things a nephew will do for his auntie if I beg him!!!

The girls riding off into the sunset!

Our precious girl, she is 2!!

What did we ever do without our baby girl. She has brought us so much laughter and joy. I cannot imagine a moment without her. She is so cheerful and sweet and we just love her so very much! Who would have ever thought we could be so lucky. Seeing our babies... it is like wining the lottery every single day!! I am so proud to be her momma and he is so glad to be your daddy and lil man... well he is so over the moon that you are his big sister!
Happy Birthday my Sweet Sophia

So Long, Farewell

I know that we have been home from our family vacation for 2 months, so I guess it is time that I go ahead and wrap up the posts!! It was such a fun time at the Turquoise Place. The condo/ living quarters were amazing! 4 bedrooms, 4 1/2 bathrooms, kitchen for a royal family, the lazy river right below us, the beach right outside our window! It was such a wonderful getaway!!

We relaxed.....

We feasted on the most fabulicious food. Brayden was in heaven!!

We walked on the beach

Eating again... my baby sister made up some "fly off the plate pancakes/ waffles"...

See the pile of pancakes on the plate...well within minutes they flew off the plate into our bellies. Thus the name...fly off the plate cakes!

Daddy played with his grand babies!

Brayden and Sophia love their G-Daddy!!

Katie and her friend. Why ever they look so pretty, it was only 7 or 8 am!??

Love him

Coffee time for the brothers....
I am not sure about this photo... why were they hiking their legs up? Cannot remember.... what happens at the beach.... stays at the beach.. So odd, but still funny.

Aron... so happy for coffee. We do not have it at home, the smell makes me yak! But it was vacation, I guess he was so happy to have a cup!

Momma made Sophia a breakfast of whip cream, yogurt, and berries. Yes, when at the beach we sometimes forgo the eating utensils.

Ready for a day on the beach

We celebrated Momma and Daddy's anniversary.

Yes, ladies and gents if you need someone to decorate cakes.... I am available!

34 years! Those love birds!!!!

The view.... so wonderful.

Just another picture of us looking at the view..... so wonderful..

We were obviously very excited about the fridge. We could not believe the size. We felt like we could have been on an episode of MTVs Cribs!!

Uncle Jason and Brayden

Me and my lil man.

The babies!!!

I look forward to this time with my family. It is a lot of family time, but these are my people. We fellowship, relax, play games, swim, and just enjoy this time together. I do not know what we will do when my brothers start bringing a fiance/ wife and have children or Aron and I have more children...we may have to rent out a resort!!

Bye Bye Summer Vacation 2011, until next year!!!

Sophia.... Sophia....

A few minutes ago I was calling for Sophia. As usual, she did not come a running when I called her name. So, I walked throughout the house (that took a split second!) and I turn to go down the hall (still calling her name)....

This is what I see...

A little booty in the air.

Sophia.... Sophia.....??

Walk a little bit closer...

Sophia...?

Closer...

The child has fallen asleep in the doorway of her bedroom!

I was just talking to her not even 6 minutes ago!!

Isn't she just precious, so peaceful and quiet..and quiet!

I wish I could just lay down on the ground stick my booty in the air and take a nap!

All is quiet in this house, both children asleep! Hooray for naptime!!

Mini Family Reunion!

While we were on vacation, we had a "mini" family reunion! My cousin, Michael and his wife Joani, her momma, and then their sweetie pie children Carter and brand new baby Madi Kay came down to visit for the day. There was some fun in the sun, a little bit of a photo shoot, and then a family dinner. We had such a fun time being with family!!

Sophia and Carter

In this photo, it looks like she may not have loved this time, but she just did not want to smile for me! She and Carter ran all over the place!!
Here we are... all of the cousins.

Ignore that I am wearing white ankle socks and holding a naked rolly polly baby!

So much fun!
Man shot!

My cousin Michael and Brayden
Joani and I trading babies- I could have stared at Madi Kay all day. She is so sweet yal, I just love a baby girl! I could have kept her in my pocket, and then given her back when she cried or had a poop diaper!

Sophia, Carter, and Brayden
They were getting to know one another

I might have had a death grip on this bundle of sweetness! Love her!

Ignore the afro-ish hair, this is what I look like after a day at the beach.

It is big yal!

(I should do a post one day to show you what it looks like brushed- a mess)

Daddy (Uncle Mike) and Carter

What a fun visit with the Mulhearn bunch!

Missing them so much!
