Baby Bear's First Haircut

So, for the past few months, this has been our view!  The Bear's hair is everywhere!  It is up, it is down, some is curly, it is crazy, and I am such a fan of this wild look!

Over the past few days, it has just taken over!  It is a baby mullet (business in the front and a party in the back!)

The curls!!!

So, today was the day.  His first haircut.
I'll tell you this, there were tears... they were mine (why ever I cried, I have no idea)!  Bray does not like for anyone to mess with his hair, we rarely even run a brush through it and we never blow dry it, he hates the noise, so I kind of thought today may not go so well.  I was right!  Poor Leah, everytime she started to cut, he yelled, "no" then turned his head away from her!  I was sweating and praying.... please don't cut off his sweet precious baby boy ears.. I love them so much!
Eventually, we all made it!  The Bear with shorter hair, Leah did not have to strap us to the chair, and I came away with a little baggy of tiny boy locks... I will treasure them always.  Sorry there are no pictures, as I had to hold Bray in the chair while Leah took tiny cuts at the locks!
Enjoying his sucker and eyeing Leah!
Next... time for Little Miss to get her hair done!
It was such a big deal, Leah shampooed her, and Sophia totally loved every minute of the pampering.
  She is such a girl!

waiting on Sophia

She even got a blow out!
So grown up!

Messy boy pre-cut!

We just love Leah!

Let the decorating begin.......

A few days ago, we stopped in at my Momma's house, and helped her with 1 of her Christmas trees.
Here was the inspiration tree, found on Pinterest, and you can see more trees here...Pretty trees!
Momma loved all of the florals in it, and I just loved everything about it!
So, off we went... a little bit of ribbon, some hydrangeas and other sprigs of pretty, two very helpful tiny tots, and an few hours later.... wa-la!

 It turned out beautiful....
The tree has everything from birds nests with tiny birds (that the kids have to frequently check on), beautiful vintage looking ornaments, flowers, crystalized looking pine needles, now that I think about it there is justa little bitta everything on this tree... but it just works!
Here are pictures of our tiny helpers...
I think he worked on this ornament for about 10 minutes!
The big white snowflake is really for another tree, but Red insisted that it go on here!
This is just precious!
To the left of Baby Bear is a empty ribbon roll (trash), he felt it too should be in the tree!
So proud of her decorating!

Trick or Treat!!

This quite possibly could be our Christmas card photo.  We are all present in the photograph, no one is wearing pajamas, I had showered and washed my hair (therefore I feel like I am looking okay), and half of the family is looking at the camera (Aron and I)..... so, ding, ding, ding, I think we have a winner!  Ha!
We had a big night of trick or treating!  Our first stop was to visit some of Aron's family.  We were able to sit and talk with them for at least an hour, and take a picture with his grandmother.  Sweet memory!  In fact, when we were leaving, Sophia yelled out, "good-bye my grandmother."  It was sweet.  Then she told us later that night, "I had a good time being with my family."  Seriously, I love her so much!
Next stop, G-Dad and Honey's house.  We were so glad my SIL stopped in to see us and that my brother and Mercedees were there.

Next stop was to see Uncle Jason and Nicole!  They had some goodies for the kids and the kids chased their pets around their house.  All in all, the visit was successful!
Bonus to the night, our friends stopped by for trick or treating, and we got to snap some pictures with some very sweet friends!
Such a fun night!
