Lost Dog! Please help me find her!!

Hello Friends.

Today my brother Richard, I know that you have seen his photo in previous blog entries, went to Wal-Mart around noon, and came back around an hour later, and his dog, Penny, was not there. Either she ran out when he was leaving or someone came into his home and took her!!

I know you girls are always out on the town (Bentonville), so maybe just keep your eyes peeled for her!

She will answer to the name, Penny. She is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Tan all over except for the white fur under her neck to her belly and on her feet. She also always looks like she is smiling!! You may also notice her purple collar.

All of our hearts are just broken without her!

Thank you.

The Curry Christmas!

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the Curry house,
we were all stirring, and definitely louder than a mouse!
Our stocking were set on the couch with such care in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there!

Aron was nestled all snug in the chair-
While visions of all of the food we would soon eat, danced through his head (o-bellies beware!!)
Momma in her red,
and Daddy in the kitchen, this night has only begun (just thought I should mention!)

When in the living room, brother Richard heard such a clatter,

I ran to the room to see what was a matter!
Away to the entry I flew like a flash (okay a slow flash, but a flash, hello I am pregnant!)-
and it was there that I noticed Katie just had a crash (on her bike in the entry way into the dancing Santa Claus)! This is the before picture!

With Daddy in the kitchen, so lively and quick, I should have known in a few moments that dinner would make me sick!

More rapid than eagles, his courses they came

Dad whistled and shouted and called us by name! (he looks very serious when he shouts for us!)

Now Amy! Caryn! Aron and MamMaw! On PapPaw! Now Jason! On Robert, lil Richard, Richard, and Katie!

To the kitchen we came, and then we said grace, quickly enough we all filled our plates!

As I drew my head and was turning around, u-oh! the morning sickness was soon to go down!
The next little bit, I tried to keep my distance, in hopes that all would still have a nice Christmas!
We later exchanged gifts, and this was so great!
Aron got a little apprehensive when he received a book about Jon and Kate Plus Eight! (thanks mom and dad, just have to get him prepared in case there is more than one Foresee in the belly!)
MamMaw got Pajamas and Kate got a camera!
And we all had stuffed stockings-
and little did we know that we would all soon be going shopping (Wal-Mart gift cards! Woo Hoo!)
This Christmas was wonderful-
we all have been blessed!
Then we went home to all get some rest!
But as we sprang to our cars-
We all gave a whistle-
and away we drove like the down of a thistle (do not know what that is)
But I heard someone exclaim-
as we all drove out of sight-
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!!!!

Hello Friends! I know that I have not written in a while, fear not, I am okay, just been so sleepy with no energy to type!! Well, I am back! I will try to catch you up on the past few days!

This week has just been so wonderful. I just love me some Christmas!
On Tuesday we went to the Parks home for our first Christmas extravaganza! It was a very fun evening of food, family, and fun! (some of my 3 favorite "F's"!) In the below picture (front, niece Annalee, back row left to right, nephew Aidan, sister Katie, and nephew Abram), they are all so cute! Look at how big they are all smiling, they did that every time they were close to the presents!

This is a photo of LeAnne (my sister in law) and myself. She is so wonderful! She was so great and put the whole evening together. She made a great dinner, lasagna, salad, and bread, and then there was some kind of pie that made you call someone sally or slap your aunt sally? I do not remember, but it was very good! I ate so much and never got sick, which was such a blessing, since the morning sickness has been an all day occurrence for me. So I was just in heaven!

Then we opened presents!!! Everyone loves this time of the party!

The boys received gift cards to Wal-Mart, Kate got a gift card to Limited Too (she loves that place) and Annalee was given a bead kit with like 10000 beads, wonder how long it will be until it is all over the floor? Sorry LeAnne and Ryan!

We got Ryan golf balls and LeAnne an assortment of scarves.

The Parks family really went all out on gifts this year, I got a gift card to the Motherhood store (this will come in handy since I am quickly outgrowing my pants)! Aron got a gift card for the man-store, Sportsman's Warehouse. He is so happy, and has not stopped talking about the new camo he will be purchasing! Then we got a group gift (totally unexpected). LeAnne found 3 baby quilts that Aron's late grandmother Bonnie had quilted. This is so very special! Here is a picture of us opening them, I was trying not to cry! The other is a picture of them all laid out at our house!

Baby Foresee will just love these quilts! This is such a wonderful gift.

After all of this excitement there was one last gift, given to all of the kids! Here they are getting ready to open it!

Bingo!!! Could this night get any better! We then played Christmas Bingo for what seemed like hours! Every time someone got a bingo, you got to pick a present from the basket, there were so many different things, candy bars, slime, magic cards, Razorback cups, coloring books, sunflower seeds! We had such a great time! Almost every time someone got a bingo, Ryan and LeAnne, in unison would say, "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!!" Love that! Here is everyone playing! Can't you just feel the excitement! Everyone smiled extra big, since I said this photo was going on the blog!
All in all, this was a wonderful evening with my family! I am so lucky to have them.

Our Journey Begins!

Well, I am at 5 weeks and 4 days!! Only thirty five more weeks, I cannot believe that this feeling, and it will only get better!! Aron and I are still so thrilled. Every morning I wake up still smiling and thanking the Lord for this early Christmas gift. God is so good! I am reading many different books right now, and you may find it interesting to know that little baby Foresee is only 1.25 mm long, and the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and muscle and bone formation are beginning to take shape. Also, the baby's skeleton is starting to form. At this point, there are not supposed to be any big changes with me, even though I am aware that I am pregnant, it will be awhile before others notice my changing figure! Well, please see the attached photo!!

There have not been any tummy enhancements (airbrushing) done to the tummy, it is all real! (ha). Black is even supposed to be slimming! I have never been happier.

Aron and I bought the baby some Razorback booties, they are just the cutest little things ever!
Then my momma has the sweetest friend Kate B (just love her)! She found the most precious ceramic cross that says, For this child, I have prayed. 1 Samuel 1:27

Then last night, my friend Kim, gave us the most precious sleepers and booties! They are yellow, so it would be just fine for a girl or a boy!!
It is all so exciting! I really appreciate all of the prayers from my sweet friends, and I am just so thankful for all of the congrats emails that I was sent last week when we announced our news. Please still keep us in your prayers, and we will be keeping everyone updated through this journey!!

Could this day get any better???

Let me start this blog by saying this has been the most roller coaster week ever. On Sunday afternoon, I started to feel like I had a sore throat. It was horrible, not strep, but a bacterial infection. It was causing blister like things in my throat!! This was not a happy time. So Monday through Wednesday I rested away from work at home, needless to say, I have recovered!
While recovering from my illness on Wednesday, I also had a fabulous Christmas party for my PEO sisters! It was out annual Christmas auction. There were about 30 women here, I had so much fun. Here are some photos of some of the girls. We had such a great time!! Turns out that all of the decorating I showed in a previous blog really paid off, the ladies loved it!

On Wednesday afternoon, after everyone had gone, I slept on the couch until my husband came home. His sister, LeAnne, made us potatoe soup (which was so yum) for dinner. While she cooked, I decorated her mantle. It is so fun to be able to do this for others. We had a great time, talking and playing with the kids. I played the board game SORRY! Do you remember that game?? I lost!

Thursday was a very stressful day for Aron and I. As some of you may know, we have been trying for some time to have a baby, for about 20 months. It has been a stressful process, that has been filled with a lot of sadness. I just knew that when we were married, it would happen so quickly for us, I mean it really seemed like it happened that way for everyone else. Our infertility issues stem from my lack of ovulation, which as everyone knows you must do this in order to have a baby. I would sometimes for 6 or 7 months with no period, it was a mess. I have been put on different hormones, which I have been taking every other evening before bed, this is supposed to help me ovulate. I take my temperature everyday, to see if I am ovulating that day. If anyone has gone through a situation like this, it really makes things so not romantic. I had a procedure in April, that would make sure that my fallopian tubes were even able to carry and egg or to see if they were open. Most women have this, and BOOM they are pregnant. Well, May came along and nothing. Ovet the past 10 months, I have spent 7 of them taking the infertility drug Clomid. My doctor just knew that this would work! We were so disapointed every month to take a pregnancy test, and still find it negative. I would just cry, my poor husband, he is always so strong and always knew the right thing to say. He just knew that one day this would happen for us. During the seventh month of taking this fertilty drug, I was experiencing a lot of pain, turns out that it was causing cysts on my ovaries. (fiasco!) So I stopped taking them for two months, was feeling good and my doctor believed that it would really just happen for us, and still no luck. Last month he wanted be to have an IUI (intrauterine insemination), but we have decided at this time to wait on this procedure. I am putting it all in God's hands. My faith has definately been tested, but I know that the Lord will one day bless us with a child. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. Job 9:10. I just know it will happen, I have always wanted to be a mother and I believe in my heart that Aron will be the most wonderful father.

So, now that you know all of the above, you will understand when I tell you that on Thursday morning, I took a test. Of course, the test was not really able to be read. So that afternoon on my lunch break I went and bought another one at Harps! Took it, it was negative. I was so upset, the one in the morning looked like it could be positive! Thursday evening, Aron took me to one of our favorite places, Abuelos! I tried to forget all about the morning, but could not.

On Friday morning, I went into see my doctor, I took a test. Imagine my surprise when the nurse said, Mrs. Foresee, you are going to have a baby!! I just bawled! She was so confused, not sure what to say. I just looked at her and said that I have just prayed and prayed for God to bless us with a baby, and he did! She cried, then my doctor came in and he was thrilled! Everyone else in the doctors office was so overcome!
I wish our heads would have been in the above photo, but I think that you know it is us!!

Aron and I decided that we wanted to wait until Christmas to tell our family and friends, but when we woke up on Saturday morning, we thought, nah-- we can't wait.

We went by the Final Touch in Bentonville, and picked up the cutest gifts for mom and dad. A mug (for each) that says I AM EXPECTING A GRANDCHILD!! and a picture frame (I LOVE MY GRANDMA and I LOVE MY GRANDPA! We arrived at their house with gifts in hand and told them that they were thank you gifts for all of their help with the party I had on Wednesday! Well, they opened the gifts, and immediately began to cry. Everyone was emotional, even the brothers and lil sis!

After all of this excitement, we called our grandparents (Moss and Poss) and told them the news. They were just as happy as we were! I cannot wait for them to come and visit and see us!! After mom and dad's we all went to MamMaw and PapPaws. Mom and dad carried their mugs in (drinking from them like nothing was wrong). MamMaw looked at it with her mouth wide opened and said, "what does that say, what does that mean??" We said, "you are going to be a great-grandmother and you will be a great-grandfather!!"

We told Ryan and LeAnne (brother and sister in law) this evening. (I do not have any photos to mark this special occasion, the next time we go there, we are totally reenacting the moment! They were so excited, but said that they knew what we were going to say when we walked in their house! I guess it is just so obvious with our goofy grins!! We told Aidan and Annalee, which was funny, we said that we were going to have a baby, and they looked directly at my stomach. LeAnne has already given some advice, always have a little snack (Saltines) with me in my bag, in case I am struck with hunger or all day/ morning sickness. This could be the best advice I will receive, seeing as how I think that I am hungry all of the time.

We are just so excited, just over the moon!!

I have a friend, who often writes this verse in her blog, and I just love it more and more, everytime I read it! Psalms 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.

I just love my sweet Jesus, and Aron and I are so proud and lucky that he has blessed us today.

So, how was your week??

Wednesday, December 3, 2008

Hello Blog World! I was wanting to find a fun questionnaire so you can get to know me better. This one had some great questions! Happy reading!!
Name: Caryn Curry Foresee

Job: Buyer for infant and toddler apparel (boy and girl). I buy everything that has a character (Dora, Strawberry Shortcake, Toy Story, Disney) for Wal-Mart. I have recently been assigned some new categories: swimsuits, coats, hair accessories, hats, and gloves! I am loving my job, and the people I work with make it so much more enjoyable.

Where am I from?? I was born in West Monroe, Louisiana and moved to Bentonville when I was in the 3rd grade. There was nothing in this town when we got here, only the home office and a brand new McDonalds, there were also numerous fields of cows!! We had to move here for SAMS, my daddy got a job here. These are my precious parents!

Single or Married? Married to my sweet husband Aron. He just makes life so wonderful. What did I ever do without him? We have been married for two years, this past September.

Children?? We have a dog, Chip. He has the worst allergies, and must take pills everyday!! Aron and I have been trying to have children for almost two years. I have been going through some different fertility treatments, but so far nothing has worked. I am so positive that the Lord will bless us with a child one day, I just know in my heart that we are supposed to be parents. I am to a point where I just have to put my faith in God, He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. Job 9:10 It will happen

Siblings? I am the oldest of four children. Jason is 28. Tall, blonde, loyal, just a great brother. Richard is 27. He is tall, blonde, so funny, a great friend. They would be such a catch for any lucky female! I guess now I am running a dating service! I also have a baby sister (not so much a baby), Katie Grace. She is 10 and in the 5th grade.

Hair color? Humm well I was born with blonde naturally curly hair. That is how God wanted me to be, so I try to keep it that way!! Gotta love the highlights!

Childhood sports? Anyone who knows me I am not very sporty. I took ballet, tap, and jazz when I was little. I think I stopped when I was in 7th grade when I stopped, so sad. Then I tried softball, I looked so cute in my outfits, that is all I can say about that! I was a gymnast for some time. Dance team throughout jr. high and high school. I so love to dance!!

Favorite Vacation Spot? The beach! I could be with anyone on that beach, just as long as it is a beach!!

Favorite T.V. Show? I will watch reality t.v all day long. (Hills, any RR or RW Challenge), Bridezillas (those girls are horrible), Dancing with the Stars. I like Greys Anatomy, 90210 (new and old), One Tree Hill!!, Project Runway, Desperate Housewives, Extreme Home Makeover. I am sure I will think of more later

Favorite Color: PINK

Fast Food Fav? Chick fila has fantastic milk shakes and the polynesian sauce is so yum. I love McDonalds fries and their chicken sandwich.

How many times did it take for you to pass your drivers test? It took me 1 time! I was like 17 when I finally decided to take it!!

Driver or passenger?? I love to be in control at the wheel, I do not feel that others know how to drive! I am always thinking that my husband drives to slow, my mom and dad drive to fast, my grandparents drive to close to others, my brothers music is to loud and distracting! So, I am more than happy to drive anyone anywhere anytime!!
Favorite Actor/ Actress? Kate Hudson, Reese Witherspoon, or Rachel McAdams. I like Paul Walker and Matthew McConaughey!!

Favorie Movie? Hello! Can't Buy Me Love, Sweet Home ALabama, Notebook, Family Stone, anything Christmas, Parent Trap, Pollyanna, Sound of Music is so much fun to sing with, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Indiana Jones movies, National Treasure movies, there are so many more

Favorite Drink: Chick fila sweet tea. It does not happen to often, but Aron will make his mamma's sweet sweet tea. It is just as wonderful or better than Chick fila! I also love COKE

Hand shake or hug: I am such a hugger. I know it makes some people uncomfortable, but I just love to hug. I even hit an older man in WM a few months ago, so embarassing, I totally could have broken his hip. He jumped forward and said in the funniest voice that he was not expecting that today. I was so scared that I hurt him. I walked towards him, start patting his back and gave him a hug. So inappropriate!! I just love everyone!
Read?? I love to read. Anything, just got the new US magazine with Spencer and Heidi on it!!
I read from the BIBLE last night. I like to read it each evening. I just love my sweet Jesus. I like James Patterson and Nicholas Sparks. I like the book Wicked. I enjoy autobiographies anything that is historical. I love having a brother that wks at Barnes and Noble! He gets a great discount.

Personality?? Happy, honest, caring, loyal, a little shy sometimes, a friend, I like to watch people, you learn so much that way

Addictions?? I chew gum.....and swallow it! DO not judge me. Your body can break it down, so no emails saying that it is sitting in my belly!! Facebook and this blogging stuff!!

Best Friend?? I have a few, and I love them all for different reasons. They are all so special to me, and they make me a better person.

Last time I cried? I am such a crier. Last month, when I realized we were not pregnant. A few weeks ago when my brother was in a car accident, he is fine, but it really puts things in perspective, I just want everyone to know how much I love them. You never know what could happen. I cried the other day when I left my mother, she is so sad about my grandmother being sick. We just want her to feel better, she means so much to us.

That is me in a nut shell. I hope that you know me a little bit better. Is there anything that I should know about you????

It's Begining to Look A Lot Like Christmas!!

It's begining to look a lot like Christmas at the Foresee house!! I have been trying to get our home ready for the holidays! I am so close to being done! This is our front door, I was so excited about the two trees that I purchased for each side of the front door, I just knew they would make the entrance beautiful. Well, I plugged those babies in and the top half of the tree on the left side will not light up! I was out there shaking the top, hoping that it was a short, but no. Now, my neighbors will think I am a crazy lady, sure I looked silly! Ignore the cords at the bottom, this is definately a hazardous entry, I will complete it with the garland around the door frame and hide the cords in that tomorrow, hopefully it will be a little bit warmer!

This is the entry way from the front door! I am so excited about the singing and dancing Santa Claus, he is as big as I am. Only bad part, in the middle of the night, I think that he looks like an intruder!

This is our main tree, you know, the one that Santa will visit. Aron, my husband, is concerned anout all of the garland on the mantle, he thinks we will not be able to have a fire in the fire place! Boo!

This is the book shelf, it looked so naked, so I topped it with some garland! Then, I thought that the hutch needed a little something something! I know, this is a lot of Christmas! It is my favorite!

This is my chicken tree. It still needs some work, I will be adding the red ribbon below the tree. It will be just precious!
The last photo is of the gold tree, it sits in our office in front of a window that looks out into our neighborhood.

Well, now you can see how I have been spending the past few weeks. I have just got to get my house ready for the big PEO meeting on this Wednesday! Hope all of the ladies love it!
Do you decorate for Christmas??
OMG! Elf is coming on in just a few minutes! What to watch??? Elf or Extreme Home Makeover?
