Where Did Yal Meet?

Hello sweet friends! I am looking for some comments today, so help a girl out!!

Where did you meet your spouse?

If you have not met your forever someone, where do you go to meet people? Church, the grocery store (you meet someone by checking out the lemons), a bar (I met many Mr. Not So Great Guys there), at school, weddings, the doctors office (what a great place to meet, that way they already see you when you are looking your worst!!)

How old were you when you met your person?

Was it love at first sight or it took you longer to realize he was Mr. Right?

I feel like the song, All the Single Ladies (by Beyonce) should be playing while yal are reading this!!

Love yal!

Caryn

P.S. Please do not read to much into this post, I am not trying to get out and meet another hubby! I love mine dearly! Anyways, like I would have the time with the cooking, cleaning, diaper changing, and bottle feedings! Haha! Ahh-the good life!

13 Candles

Well, the time has come. My baby sister is 13, a teenager! I can hardly believe it. I remember when she was born, I was soon to graduate from high school (o-that was so long ago)! What a busy 13 years, it is flying by.

Here is our girl. So excited about the attention she is getting while cutting her cake.

Daddy, Jason, and Hubbalicious Honey and Brayden

A little bit about our darling Katie Grace. Well, she is 13 years old and is currently in the 7th grade. She is so very smart, she just blows me away. Always getting the best grades (she gets that from me- ha)! She is funny, talented, and super gorgeous. What would we have ever done without her? I have no idea. I am so proud to be her big sister and be her friend. Happy Birthday to my sweet sister, you have come a long way baby!!

Thirteen, this was a big year for me. (Boyz II Men was hot and so was Color Me Badd, Bill Clinton was the President, The Bodyguard and Aladdin were out, Full House was popular (I so wanted to be D.J. Tanner) a gallon of gas was about 1.12 (gez, that went up), Yes, this was the start of all things teenager! That was a rough year for myself (1991/92). What a mess I was. Entering into junior high. I brushed my hair and thought it was pretty (do not forget that my hair is naturally curly), had braces (yowza), so very pale (it was as if sunlight had never seen my skin), and I was a little gangly thing. The beginning of acne (tragic), the start of a period (thought my life was over as well as my days as a swimmer), would I ever get boobs? (should not have wished so hard for those!) I never had a boyfriend (sob), certainly never been kissed (sob, sob), but o- the crushes (the Mikes, the Johns, the Nick Little's, the Beau's, hey I told yal I had a new crush everyday!!! Looking back in my diary I had written I love Aron forever (talking about my husband), so funny because I definitely did not know him (must have passed him in the hall). O- to be 13 again- not so much!!

What about your early teen years, were they rough like mine?

Love yal,

Caryn

My Little Princess

I love that this day has come! Lovey is starting to enjoy playing dress up. She is all about putting on the little shoes, crowns, and dresses.

Even a princess has to go to the store and do the shopping!

A little princess has to pile her babies in the cart just like momma does!
(She does not even have room for the food in her cart!)
This little princess likes to cook in the kitchen.
Have a happy day!
Love yal,
Her Royal Highness

Me and My Valentines!!!

Happy Valentines Day!
This has definitely been a day of surprises.
We have been showered with cards, flowers, and other gifts a plenty (thank you Brayden)! What a happy day I have been able to spend with my sweet babies, my momma, and wonderful hubby!
Here is Sophia and her daddy. He is helping her to open her Valentines Day card from her Aunt Kitty Kat, Honey, and Granddaddy.
Fascinated by the sparkly Cinderella card.
Gotta love the stickers!
Ariel card! She loves the Little Mermaid, I think it is the red hair!!
Sophia loving on her Honey
Brayden's first Valentines Day, and he is asleep for most of it.
Aron got Sophia a card, teddy bear, and balloons.
This will provide much needed entertainment for tomorrow!!Aron reading what he wrote to his baby girl. He is so sweet and thoughtful with the things that he writes in the cards he gives to us. We really are lucky girls. Me and my man. Why ever he did not make a seductive face, I look a little odd and like I have fish lips (not seductive at all)!
All of our sweet cards. My flowers. My daddy and momma got me beautiful red roses and Aron came home from work with the most amazing bouquet from a local flower shop, Bloom. They do wonderful arrangements.
Telling ya, I am a lucky girl.

Hope that everyone had a wonderful day filled with hugs, kisses, and I Love Yous!

If not, here is a big Hug and Kiss to ya! xoxoxoxo

Hello, my name is Caryn, and I have an addiction.

Okay, it is out there. I have an addiction.

Yesterday, at around 6 p.m., I baked. Yes, I have found the time to bake. I made a cake, not just any cake, but a fluffy, golden, butter, yellow cake with chocolate icing. I must say it was delicious. This was the cake just 3 short hours after it was baked and iced.

I did that. I ate half of a cake. I could have done more, but it was 9 o'clock and I had to go to bed! I did have a little bit of help from my husband.

Is this normal?

Honestly, I iced the thing while Aron was outside shoveling snow. I did not even put the whole can of icing on the cake, I ate a little less than 1/4 of it right outta the tiny Betty Crocker bucket! O, I am so ashamed. So ashamed that I had a piece of cake this morning for breakfast!

I have to get out of this house soon! How would I even get out in this though? My dogs that pull the sled are in the kennel, and my big rig with 4 wheel drive is in the shop. I have never seen winter weather like this, 20 inches of snow, in a day, it drives a girl to eat. A whole cake.

At least I am surrounded by some of my favorite people...

Look at this, Sophia is totally starving for some human interaction!

My First Adventure in Snowland!

Well, today we finally made it out of the house! Yes, we ventured out into Snowland! After being cooped up in the house all week, due to Winterpalooza 2011, we got outside and played in the snow. Our sweet friends: Erin, Jason, and little Brittney, were so nice to go out yesterday and search for Lovey girl some winter gear. They brought it over this morning, with some sleds, and out we went. Enjoy the photos!

Doesn't she look like the little brother, Randy, on The Christmas Story?? She could not move, I had her in so many layers. So surprised she could walk!

Hope you are having as much fun in the snow as we did today! We are supposed to get more tomorrow, and then about another 7-10 inches during the week! Be safe everyone!

Love yal,
Caryn

Daddy, you are how old??

It is that time of year again! Happy Birthday to two of my most favorite men! In January we celebrated 2 birthdays. Aron turned 31, he is so getting up there, and Daddy turned 50ish something. What a fun time we had celebrating their happy days!
Here is the birthday boy with his chocolate cake.
Making a wish! I am sure that he wished for more sleep!
