Beach Photo Shoot....

I miss vacation...

This year, during our family vacation, my momma...

(I post this picture, so she will be in the post. I have no shots of her on the beach:( (sad face))

arranged for us to have a family picture taken. The whole family was dressed in white and khaki and the back drop would be the beach! So much fun and original (I know!).

Here is the scene:

I wish I could have taken more pictures, but as we were walking out to the beach, I was holding my camera.....

(man voice) The photographer was like: I am going to have to ask that you put that away if I am taking any photos.

(sweet precious girl voice) and I was like: What?

(man voice) then he was like: I will be taking the photos, if ya could just put that away

(Sweet precious girl voice) and I said: Humm? (I was scared to take any photos, and I was even a bit taller and a wee bit heavier, but I just put the photos in his beach cart....such a chicken. It is not like I would not buy any of the shots he took, but whatev!

So, now I was too afraid to take any photos, but not momma! She had her phone and was taking a few quick snaps of everyone (none of these were shots that the photographer was doing!!) We will be ordering those soon to hang on our wall, they are sooo wonderful!!she loved her dress.

Woo Pig Sooie!!

This past weekend we ventured out to see the Razorbacks play some football! We are very big fans of the piggies and we do NOT miss a game!

This is our only picture with Sophia, she would not look at the camera. All she wanted to do was call those HOGS!!! She is doin' the woooo part!!

Momma and Daddy

My Aunt Cathy and her man-friend Rick! You could call him boy-friend or steady date (whatever the kids are saying these days), but man friend sounds way-- cooler to me. Katie Grace is posing above them!

Me and my Aunt Cathy

I must say, this was their first Razorback game to attend! My aunt and her man friend are from Louisiana and are LSU Tiger fans. That is all I have to say about that.

Me and my precious boys.

Richard (my brother) is totally photo-bombin' this picture! Richard and Brayden
Wanted another picture with my boys, but it did not turn out so hot. Ughh! The double chin, the crying, Richard making crazy faces again!

We just love those Hogs!

Woo Pig!

Just a Walk in the Park

So, today I boldly went where most brave/ genius moms go everyday, the park. Let me repeat, I TOOK BOTH CHILDREN TO THE PARK, ALONE!! This was very outta my comfort zone. I am always picturing the worst case scenerio: Sophia runs off in the crowded playground then I am unable to find her as I zoom around with Brayden in our overly large stroller and I am screaming and crying for her (kids start freaking out parents are frantic) then Sophia pops out from under the slide (can we say OVER-REACTOR!!), or she falls off of the playground equipment, or some rapid animal comes up and bites us (this could so happen, in fact a scary looking dog (looked a little mangey ran towards us today, NO FEAR THOUGH, I threw chicken nuggets far from us to get him to go away), or a danger stranger comes up and watches (so afraid of the sketchy characters), a mean child pushes her over and I am tempted to go and make them apologize to my baby... you know the worst case scenario. This is why I rarely go to a playground alone... I am such a wuss. Today was different, I said to myself, "self, you have got to get yourself and your children out of this house and take in some of this beautiful fall weather!!" So off we went.

Needless to say, 2 out of three had a wonderful time. I will let you view the pictures and you decide who was not so hot on so playground activities.....

In this picture she is saying, "best day ev-er!!"

Here they cannot figure out why they are no longer moving.

In this one, they notice their shadow

She sees the manegy dog- "no, momma.. its ruff ruff!!"

push me momma

don't like this....

still not having fun...

hey, get me outta this contraption!

seriously, quit taking my picture.

One half smile, then I am screaming!

I am so over this.

I will sleep right here.

Besides the swings the slide was the favorite. She went down the slide about 50 times before she realized there were other things to play with at the park.

Getting sleepy!

me: Sophia, are you ready to go home?

Sophia: ummmm- yes

Well, this outting was a walk in the park, I will probably take them back tomorrow!

Love yal!

5 years of lovin' and some livin'!

Happy 5 Year Anniversary to my wonderful husband, Aron. O my goodness, at how far we have come. 5 years later, a dog, a home, two sweet babies. I could not be happier in this life that I have made with you. Thank you for being my biggest supporter and my best friend. I am so loved and I appreciate everyday that I get to spend being your wife. Tear, sniffle, sniffle.

Now for a trip down memory lane, our wedding day.

Look at how nice we look, all dressed up.

The Curry Family

Check out these lovely ladies, my cousins and my baby sister. These were the junior bridesmaids for our special occasion.
Daddy walking my down the aisle. Could be one of my favorite moments of the day. When I came out of the room to be presented in the church, I started to cry when I saw my daddy. Don't know why, but it was so sweet. He looked at me pulled out his pockets and said what are ya crying for honey, I do not have anymore money! Haha! He made me laugh and we made our walk! (FYI, he cried a tear or 3 too!)
my dress. I love it still! the top part is a jacket and buttoned up the back. sigh. I love that dress. Humm... I should put it on for when Aron gets home from work and just be doing the dishes or changing baby diapers- he would d-i-e! (or laugh, bc it would never zip/ button up the back!)

The garter thingy

Our first dance

The cake feeding

Aron and his beautiful sister (my sister too!)

The wedding party. Yes, count them if you must. But we just have some amazing friends that we wanted to be a part of the day.
So happy to spend the rest of my life with you.

I really thought I would never ever find the perfect man to settle down with, buy a home with, have some babies with, grow old with, have Christmas time with, husband to cook for, someone to take care of me when I am old, someone to take out my trash cans, someone to wake up to in the mornings, but I found him. It is the best love story I could have ever dreamed up and I cannot wait to see what is in store for the next 5, 15, 50 years of marriage.

Just an FYI, Someday My Prince Will Come is playing in the background right now! Sophia is watching her new favorite princess movie (Snow White)!! What an appropriate song to be on while I type this out!
