On Easter Sunday, we attended church and then spent the duration of the day at momma and daddy's house. They had prepared a wonderful lunch, the kids hunted eggs, and for the first time (eva) momma and daddy hid eggs for me the bruthas, my sis, and Aron. The day was so much fun! The rest of this post will be a big picture dump (that way family we are missing (in the LA and the VA)) can see us and feel like you were in on the fun too! Love yal!
For the past 4 or 5 years, I have hosted a pre-Easter party, Easter Eggstravaganza! We have dinner, dye eggs, and just have fun visiting with family and friends. This year, I decided to change things up a bit and added the Egg-Olympics. There were two competitions: egg blowing (where you poke a needle size hole into the top and bottom of an egg (not boiled) and then blow the egg yolk out through the bottom pin hole).... sounds crazy (yeah it it is), but it is so funny to watch. The next game was the egg toss (equally as challenging and leaves at least one team member drenched in egg yolk (gross to be yolked, but funny to watch). We had such a fun time this year, and I am already planning next years events!
